DTS 038 - Masai Mara Game Reserve – Tree Hotel – Samburu Game Reserve (6 Days)

Day 1: Masai Mara Game Reserve

Met upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Nairobi (J.K.I.A) by Dallago Tours & Safaris meet and greet service representative who will brief you on your safari in Kenya and depart by road for Masai Mara Game Reserve also known as The 7th Wonder of the World because of the Great migration, witnessed every year between June and September when millions of wildebeests and zebras cross Mara River from Serengeti National Park in Tanzania to Masai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya in search of food and water and it is famous for its wide variety of flora and fauna. Lunch at the Lodge / Camp. In the afternoon you will have a game drive where you may have a chance of seeing the ‘Big Five’, different varieties of birdlife and the best savannah vegetation in the world. Return to the Lodge/ Camp dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Masai Mara Game Reserve

You will have a morning and afternoon game viewing on this day. In the mid morning you will visit a Masai Village where you will have a chance of experiencing the unique Masai Culture (it is optional). All meals and overnight at your Lodge.

Day 3: Tree Hotel

On this day you will have an early breakfast and depart for Aberdares National park / Mount Kenya National Park to arrive in time for lunch. You will spend the rest of the afternoon at the balconies of your Tree Hotel overlooking a flood lit waterhole and saltlick which attracts awesome wildlife such as the elephant, Rhino, Leopard, Bushbuck and occasionally an elusive Bongo or a giant forest Hog. Dinner and overnight in a Tree Hotel.

Day 4: Samburu Game Reserve

On this day of your Kenya Safari you will depart after breakfast by road for Samburu Game Reserve which is very rich in flora and fauna not seen anywhere else in Kenya such as the reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich, Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk and the Grevy’s Zebra, crossing the Equator Zero Degrees to arrive in time for lunch. In the afternoon you will have a game drive where may have a chance of spotting lions, cheetahs and the elusive leopard. Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Samburu Game Reserve

On this day of your Kenya safari, you will enjoy an early morning game drive in Samburu Game Reserve. Mid morning you can visit a Samburu Village where you will have a chance of experiencing their culture by participating in some of their day to day activities (it is optional). Samburu people are nomads. In the late afternoon you will enjoy a game drive. All meals and overnight stay at the Lodge.

Day 6: Departure

On this day which is your last day of your Kenya Safari you will return to Nairobi. Lunch and dinner own arrangement. You will thereafter be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (J.K.I.A) in time to connect your flight.
