Welcome to Southern Palms Beach resort, located on the beautiful white sandy shores of the Indian Ocean at Diani Beach just 35kms, South of Mombasa, on the Kenya coast. This 4 star beach resort, was opened in 1992, has a unique blend of buildings designed in traditional Swahili and Arabic architecture. With 298 air -conditioned double bedrooms and 2 deluxe suites overlooking 2 large free form swimming pools, is set in some 5 hectares of mature tropical gardens and coconut palms, the Resort gives an ample feeling of space and peace.

Guest Rooms
Guest rooms are air-conditioned, feature a locally carved 'pilipili' four-poster double bed, a standard sized single day bed, which converts to a second bed, and ceramic tiled floors.
Wardrobes are fitted with a combination safe, bathrooms have large roomy showers, with 33 rooms face onto the swimming pools and gardens, a major feature of the resort, with 33 rooms overlooking the seafront and maybe pre-booked, a sea view supplement'
Interconnecting rooms are available on various floors.
Children can only be accommodated in ground floor rooms.

The Main Restaurant provides a full buffet service for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Full board meal plan includes lunch in the main Restaurant. The Boriti snack restaurant and the beachcomber Stir-fry during the day serves selected a la carte dishes.
During the evening, the Nyama Choma Restaurant specializes in grilled meats and fish. The Boriti pizza & pasta restaurant provides waiter service from a limited menu selection. There are no additional costs. Reservations are required for dinner and may be interchanged with lunch, but prior arrangements have to be made.
Special a la carte orders for a spiny Langouste, (a tropical version of the lobster without claws) crab, prawns or steaks are always available from any restaurant.
Gentlemen are expected to wear long trousers in the evening.

HOTEL CREDIT CARD
The hotel operates an internal credit card facility for those not wishing to pay cash for their daily purchases made from Food and Beverage outlets. These cards are purchased from the main cashier against an advance payment of Kshs. 300/= with this credit being reduced as the bills come in. Any amount unutilized is refunded in full
