DTS 061 Stane Town Gateway (2 nights)
Departs daily from Zanzibar on arrival (flights excluded)

Day 1 Arrive Zanzibar
Upon arrival in Zanzibar you will be met and transferred to your hotel of choice. This afternoon, enjoy a spice island tour and have opportunity to sample locally grown fruits and herbs. Overnight stay at a hotel of your choice.

Day 2 Zanzibar
Enjoy a guided tour of Stone Town this morning. Later this afternoon, an excursion to Prison Island is included. Overnight stay at a hotel of your choice.

Day 3 Zanzibar - Depart
Transfer to the airport for your return flight or extend your stay for a two or three day beach break at on of the coast hotels. Overnight stay at the Zanzibar Serena Inn.

DTS 062 Jozani Forest
Depart daily from Stone Town Hotels and Beach Hotels.

Enjoy a guided walk through the nature trails of a tropical forest. A highlight will be spotting the rare Red Colobus Monkey, endemic to the forest.

DTS 063 Prison (Changuu) Island
Departs daily from Stone Town Hotels and Beach Hotels.

Once used to hold “rebellios slaves” Changuu Island was purchased by a Briton in 1983 and converted to a prison (although it was never used). Enjoy the excellent swimming and snorkeling.

DTS 064 Mangapwani Slave Caves Departs
daily from Stone Town Hotels and Beach Hotels.

Along a beautiful stretch of white sandy beach lies a hidden cove said to be used for hiding slaves after their export was forbidden in 1873. Enjoy lunch and time to swim and relax on the beach.

DTS 065 Swim with Dolphins
departs daily from Stone Town Hotels and Beach Hotels.

Local boats take you from Fumba into the waters in search of the dolphin. With luck you will find a pond and be able to swim amongst these curious and gentle creature. Enjoy a swahili barbeque lunch on a nearby desert island and have time to relax before returning to the mainland.
